OUR MAPLE
PRODUCTS AND HOW TO USE THEM
Maple
syrup
Here,
in Quebec, the maple syrup is often associated as a dessert and
we always eat the maple syrup cold (from the fridge to the table);
its taste is best. In Quebec, the traditional way to eat our
maple syrup is plain as dessert: pour in a cup, add a little
bit of cream and dip with bread. Delicious on pancakes, French toasts, ice cream,
yogurt, and on all fresh fruits (strawberries,
blueberries, etc ...). We also cook some meats with a little
bit of maple syrup during cooking.
Maple
butter
No butter in
this product, but it is as butter for spreading. Delicious on toasts at
breakfast (instead of jam). Try it also on the traditional "Tartine de
crème" of Province of Quebec: take a large slice of homemade bread,
add cream, and spread with "Maple butter". Delicious! Maple butter
must be kept in a fridge place. If it will be warm during shipping, maybe
you will find a little bit of maple syrup on top of your maple syrup. No
problem! With a spoon, stir 2 minutes and it will become smoothly. Place in
a refrigerator.
Granulated Maple Sugar
Same texture as brown sugar. No need in a fridge place; store in
your kitchen in a hermetic container as any sugar. Delicious on oatmeal, yogurt,
ice cream, in coffee.
Soft candies with form of "Maple
leaf".
To avoid damage during shipping, we send only maple syrup in these safe containers (we do not ship glass bottles):
- in fantasy plastic jugs (different sizes);
- in special cans with a stainless steel coverage inside (540ml).
Maple butter is in plastic container of 250g (1/2 pound).
HOW TO STORE YOUR
MAPLE PRODUCTS
In fantasy
jugs, always store your maple syrup in a refrigerator and you will keep
indefinitely (even though the bottle is open or not yet).
In cans, you can store in your kitchen many months, as any food in can; no
need refrigerating. No metal taste because the can is covered inside with
stainless steel. When we need a can of maple syrup, we open it and we
transfer in a glass or plastic bottle and place in the refrigerator.
All maple products can be frozen if you do not think to use them before many
months.

SHIPPING COSTS
Maple products are heavy. For United States, you must add about 50% to
80% to your order for the mailing costs, depending of the distance.
Example: $20.00 for maple products + mailing (approx. $9.00 for the U.S.
East Coast, and approx. $16.00 for the U.S. West Coast).
We mail by ground because it is less expensive than by airplane.
Do not forget that it is Canadian dollars.
As example, an order of $20.00 CAN = $15.00 US to pay.
We think that it is more advantageous for you to order directly and pay the
mailing costs than to buy in your specialized stores.
PAYMENT
For customers of Canada: you can pay by check or money order (in
Canadian dollars).
For customers of United States: As we have an account in U.S. money
at our bank, you can pay us by check (in U.S. dollars). We do not have the
machine to accept the credit cards.
Do not hesitate to contact us again if you need more information!
